"Minnie" (nee Esberg) Carrick was my Great, Great Grandmother. Her parents were Anthony and Henrietta Esburger (nee Rhinewhald). They were both from Bion, Bion Germany. Wilhemina had a brother George and Sister Rose. Wilhemina had an accent and could speak German. The Esberg name has been found spelled several ways in geaneological research.

"Minnie" married Valentine Carrick in 1892. They were the parents of Josephine, William Viora, Robert, Valentine, Loretta "Laura"and Alice. "Minnie's" husband, Valentine, later left the family.

Minnie cleaned apartment houses. My Grandmother,
Margaret, as a teenager, lived with her Grandmother, "Minnie", for a while after her parents died. She said Minnie was very strict. She said Minnie would love to hear all that was going on in the building. The family does not have a picture of "Minnie".
