Joshua Philmore Wyatt "J.P." of Winston Salem, Passed away in his home on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. After graduating high school he joined the U.S. Navy where he served in the Korean war on the USS Iowa. J.P. put in 33 years of service at Western Electric before he retired. He is preceded in death by his father, Joshua P. Wyatt Sr.; mother, Ella Mae Parsons Tilley; sister, Geneva W. Bundrick and brother, James Edward Wyatt. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jane Bodenhamer Wyatt; sons, James Donald Wyatt (Robin) and John Dewey Wyatt (Debbie); grandchildren, Joshua Edward Wyatt, Sarah Hylton (Derrick) and Amanda Tolley (Kevin); four great grandchildren; one special niece, Linda Wesley (Midge) and his special pet, Rocky. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 1:00pm until service time at 2:00pm at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home on Reynolda Road. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park
