Surviving are his wife; two sons, Scott Ruhl Butcher and Michael Robert Butcher; two sisters, Alice Ann (Crawford) Byrd and Ladonna (Thorne0 Cayton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death b his parents.
He volunteered in 1955 in the Army.
