Mrs Koppen, 85, North Mankato, Dies Last Night:
Mrs John Koppen, 601 Nicolett ave, 85, who has lived in this community since 1874 when she came to this county from Germany, died last night at her home.
Mrs Koppen was born in Germany. Her marriage took place in this country in 1876. She was a charter member of the Rebeks lodge.
Survivors include her husband, three sons, Otto Koppen of Cordova Alaska; Oscar Koppen of Gibbon and John Koppen Jr of North Mankato; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Rosi Strobel of Jackson.
