MRS. RICHARD SWINDELL

Mrs. Charlotte B. Swindell, 81 years old, wife of Mr. Richard Swindell, one of the founders of Swindell Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church, Wesport, died yesterday morning at her home, 509 West Lee street, from a complication of diseases, after an illness of more than 6 months. Mrs. Swindell had been in ill health for several years, but it was only of late that her condition was deemed serious. She is an aunt of Messrs. Walter B. and Charles Swindell of the firm of Swindell Bros. glass manufacturers.

She was a prominent member of Bennett Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church for a number of years. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Mr. Jacob B. Swindell; three daughters, Mrs. William Armstrong, Mrs. John Tall and Chas. Opel, and 25 grandchildren.

The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon. Revs. William Harris, pastor of Bennett Memorial Church and Charles O. Isaac, pastor of Columbia Avenue Church will officiate. Burial will be in Loudon Park Cemetery.
