Harry Adams
WATHENA – Harry M. Adams, 86, died Saturday afternoon at his home here.
A retired farmer and Commercial fisherman, Mr. Adams had lived in this community for 42 years. He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the Army, and was a member of the Wathena Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Adams; three brothers, Walter Adams and Owen Adams, both of St. Joseph, and Archie Adams, Suwanee, Fla.; two sisters, Janie Winslow, St. Joseph, and Minnie Randall, Skidmore, Mo.; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 1:30 at Harman’s Chapel here with burial in the Bellemont cemetery. Visitation will be at the Harman Mortuary here.
