Delia Catherine See Foltz, 91, formerly of Lost City, W.Va., died July 25, 2015, at Sentara RMH Medical Center. She was born Dec. 23, 1923, in Mathias, W.Va., and was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Nellie Catherine May See.

She was a cook and baker at Woods Edge Restaurant for a number of years and also worked as a cook at Lost City School. She was a member of the New Dale Church of the Brethren and played the piano at the Mountain View Church of the Brethren for many years. She was a homemaker, great loving mother and a great babysitter for the grandchildren.

On Jan. 2, 1948, she married William Charles Edward Foltz, who preceded her in death March 31, 1967.

Surviving are a daughter, Gloria Jean Walker of Lost City; a son, Charles Edward Foltz Jr. and wife, Linda, of Lost City; sister, Beulah Bowman of Mathias; grandchildren, Stephanie Slater and husband, Anthony, Bradley Walker, Wesley Foltz and wife, Scotti, and Andrea Walker; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Pete See, and a sister, Nora Albright.

The Revs. Ernest Halterman and Olin Bailey will conduct a funeral service Friday, July 31, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Mount View Church of the Brethren in Lost City. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Lost City.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway. The casket will be closed.
