Harold Petersen, son of Ole H. and Helga (Nelson) Petersen was born August 6, 1895 at Fullerton, Ne. At an early age, he moved with his parents to St. Paul.
On February 24, 1923 he was united in marriage to Allie Blair at Kearney. The couple resided in St. Paul where he worked on road construction. In 1941, they moved to a farm near Princeton, Missouri. Mrs. Petersen died in December of 1970.
Mr. Petersen was a World War I Navy veteran having served from 1917 to 1919.
He passed from this life Sunday, April 1st at Florence Heights Nursing Home in Omaha at the age of 77 years.
He is survived by a number of cousin. Preceding him in death were his wife, parents and a brother, Hans.
