Emelia Ashley, 79 years old, resident of Ford county since 1881 and 19 years a resident of Gibson City, died at her home here this morning ,nine moths after the death of her husband.


She had been in poor health for a year but had been bedfast only three weeks.


She was Corn at Hennepin, IL, May 21, 1844.


Surviving are one son and one daughter.
