Walter E. Siegel, 89, of Clarksville, IN, was born Wednesday, December 24, 1913, in North Dakota. He returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 19, 2003, at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany, IN. He was a retired service technician for the Marathon Oil Company.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Corrine Alvey Siegel; four daughters; a son; a sister; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at family-owned Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks, Preston Hwy. and Brooks Rd., where family and friends may kindly visit from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Siegel had requested cremation to follow services.
