Funeral services for Thelma Gandy McCann, 93, of Cuba will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11 A.M. at the Cuba Presbyterian Church with Rev. Chris Kiepe and Rev. Mike McKee officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Memorial Cemetery in Cuba. Visitation will be at the church from 10 AM until 11 AM prior to the service.
Mrs. McCann passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Anderson’s Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was a retired librarian from the Hightower Memorial Library in York, AL.
Survivors include two sons Larry McCann (Johnnie) of Cuba; James McCann (Peggy) of Lago Vista, TX; daughter Linda Ezell (David) of Edmond, OK; sisters Elsie Upchurch of Cuba; Dot Butler of Nashville, TN; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Thelma McCann Memorial Fund at Cuba Presbyterian Church at PO Box 56, Cuba, AL 36907.
