She was born in Bangor on Dec. 14, 1956, the daughter of Carroll and Theresa Higgins. She grew up in Portland, attending Portland Schools Cindy was a stay at home mom and was the best one ever! She loved nature, art, music and especially spending time with her family.
Cindy was predeceased by her parents; and her siblings, Lawrence Higgins, Wayne 'Yogi' Higgins and Lisa Higgins-Wedge.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Anthony Bridges; and children, Brenda Butt and her husband Emery, Elizabeth Higgins, Lori Higgins-Stuart and Brian Higgins and his wife Jennifer. She is also survived by her siblings, Carol Ann Higgins and her husband Ron Eby, Robert Higgins and his wife Brenda, Donna Higgins and husband Timmy Cox, Melody Higgins and Dennis Higgins and his wife Theresa; as well as 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 1-4 p.m., with a service at 4 p.m., on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland. Interment will be at a later date at Forest City Cemetery.
