Frances Miller, 94, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Frances was born in Guthrie Center, IA. She was one of the first women hired at the Post Office in the early '60's. After retirement she divided her time between Lake Ponderosa in the summer and winters in Arizona, which she truly loved. She liked cards and casinos and didn't quit driving until the age of 91.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine, sister, Martha Martinson, 1 niece and 4 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Larry, parents, and brother Don Reeves.
Per her wishes there will be no services. Her family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Mercy Hospice in Johnston for their truly wonderful and heartfelt care. Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
