Anne Wilson, b. 23 Aug. 1834; d. 1924, Broughshane, buried near her husband; the dau. of William Wilson, a farmer of Bally-chougham near Broughshane and Sarah Speer of Ballyear near Carnmoney. "The Wilson side of the Magill family is of great interest, for one of that family married into the Churchill family ... I do remember that one of this connection saved the life of Queen Victoria when he struck the would-be-assassin and the pistol went off harmlessly."
