Casey lived and worked in Lewiston and Clarkston most of her life, and was known for working at her father's pharmacy, Marketime Drug, and other places such as Third Dimension, Riverview Inn and the law office of Jim Grow.
She did many speaking engagements in regards to being in recovery and speaking out in the fight against child abuse. She was also a member of Unity Church and attended Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous for several years.
Casey was well-known for her smile, laughter, many hugs, her love of angels and feathers, and being "Mama Casey" to many friends and family. Her home was always open to those in need, especially to fellows in the NA and AA program and also to those affected by child abuse.
People always heard her make snorting noises when she laughed and commented how she could belch like a sailor. Casey was a very loving mother and talked about her children all the time. She will be missed terribly by both Erik and Savannah.
Casey passed away of complications of cancer.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents; stepmother Diana Dalton; and son Dirk Dalton.
Her first son, Erik, was born in September 1977.
She was married to Thomas Blimka in October 1978, and was later divorced in October 1988.
Her second son, Dirk Dalton, was born in June 1989, and he tragically preceded her in death in May 1994.
Her adopted daughter, Savannah Lindsley, was born in March 2000.
