Born in Union, April 17, 1973, she was a daughter of Brenda (Eubanks) Monroe of Union.
A graduate of Union High School, Class of 1991, she received her Bachelor degree in nursing from USC-Upstate and her Masters degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina.
Employed with Spartanburg Regional Medical Center as Coordinator for the palliative care for over 10 years, she previously worked as a registered nurse in oncology with inpatient Hospice and with oncology research.
Mrs. Parker was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are three sons, Dustin Ochiltree, Brett Ochiltree and Gabriel Parker, all of the home; one sister, Monica Quinn of Union; and one brother, Chad Monroe of Union; her mother-in-law, Alma Parker of Pacolet.
Mrs. Parker was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Eubanks.
Funeral services were held 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Eddie Saxon. Burial was in Union Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends Tuesday, July 4, 2006 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the S. R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
