Sara (Keisler) Berry, age 76, of Union, SC, died Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mrs. Berry was born in Union, July 5, 1930, a daughter of the late Wallace and Bernice (Gregory) Keisler.

Retired after 30 years of service to the public, she was a lifetime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was a member of the Catherine Williams Sunday school class. Mrs. Berry loved all of the members and cherished each and every one of them.

Surviving are two daughters: Elizabeth A. Lesesne of Greenville and Ginger L. Berry of the home; two grandchildren: Ashleigh Elizabeth Lesesne of Greenville and Kailan Wylie McWhorter of the home.

She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services were held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Tabernacle Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Roger Estes. Burial was in Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers were Billy Medford, Tra Wilkinson, Gene Gregory, Don Cody and Jody Hamrick.

The following were asked to assemble at the church at 10:45 AM Wednesday to form the honorary escort: Sam White, Andy Wactor, Elmer Rector and Tommy McManess.

The family received friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

Memorials could be made to the Union Christian Day School, 331 Meansville Rd., Union, SC, 29379.
