Carol A. Burnett, 62, of Clearfield, PA died Sunday, May 21, 2006 at her home.
Born May 3, 1944 in Clearfield she was the daughter of Joseph D. and Dorcas T. (Swisher) McBride.
She was an Registered Nurse for over thirty years with the Clearfield Hospital. She was also owner/operator of Klassie Kids store in Clearfield for several years. She had attended Clearfield Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, and volunteered as a C.P.R. instructor with the Clearfield Hospital where she volunteered for many years in various departments. She graduated from the Clearfield High School and in 1962 she attended Clearfield Nursing School and graduated from Philipsburg Hospital Nursing School.
She is survived by her husband John H. Burnett whom she married September 28, 1963 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, two children Nichole D. Burnett and her fiance Ryan E. Tittle, of Dillsburg and John H.J. Burnett and his fiancee Kristen Davis of Mehanicsburg, PA and two brothers Joseph D. McBride and his wife Susan of Battle Creek, MI and Roger A. McBride and his wife Cindy of Stronach, PA
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc, Clearfield with Dr. Duane White officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services.
The family suggests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 119 E. Market St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
