,SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Nova Nadine Ackman, 93, of Sedgewickville passed away Monday, July 20, 2015, at her home.

She was born March 3, 1922, in LaCrosse, Arkansas, daughter of Charlie and Susie Bell Andersen Felton. She and Troy Ackman were married Sept. 11, 1948. He passed away in February 1996.

Nova was a member of Post Oak Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Douglas Ackman of Essex, Missouri, Michael Ackman of Patton, Missouri, and the Rev. Mickey Ackman of Whitewater; a daughter, Ena Mayberry of Sedgewickville; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Gary; four brothers, Roscoe, Glen, Woodrow and J.C.; and three sisters, Obel, Mae and Wanda.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roy Michael officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery near Pocahontas.
