MULLINS, Edward Age, 83 of Middletown, OH passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born August 17, 1931 in Belknap, KY to the late Millard and Eva Mullins. He graduated from a Baptist High School in Kentucky and attended Morehead College. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Ed retired from AK Steel in 1993 and was a member of Tytus Avenue First Church of God. He was a hard worker who provided for his family. Ed was a loving husband and cherished time with his girls and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and working at Armco Park after his retirement. He and Ruth enjoyed traveling with Jim Winters and the Jolly 60's group. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his; brother, Mervin Mullins; sister, Genieve Allen; and nephew, Paul Allen. Edward will be missed by his loving wife of almost 56 years, Ruth Mullins; daughters, Patty Parker and Debbie (Junior) Cope; grandchildren, Jeremy Parker, Kaitlin Parker, Shelbi Williamson, Jacob Brittingham, Allisa Cope, Jesika Cope, Macie Cope; brother, Doug Mullins; and three nieces. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Tytus Avenue First Church of God, 3304 Tytus Ave., Middletown, with Pastors Greg Wallace and Damon Curtis co-officiating. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 5:30-9 p.m. Entombment will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Please visit www.anderson-fh.com to send an online condolence.
