He was born Feb. 1, 1893, in Tuchow, Poland. He was a resisdent of Munising since 1968, after living in Cheboygan since 1943. He retired from the Bude Company of Detroit in 1960 after 50 years of service. He was a life member of the Munising Knights of Columbus Council 2804 and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Munsing. His wife, Mary preceded him in death in 1968 after 50 years of marriage. Also preceding him n death were a daughter , Agnes, and a son, Casimer.
