DEATH RECORD AT TAYLOR, (TEXAS).
Special to The Statesman, published in Austin, Texas, on August 9, 1902, Saturday.
Taylor, Texas, Aug. 9, 1902 - Under military escort of the Taylor Rifles and followed by a large concourse of sorrowing friends, the remains of Mrs. Lena Nanwald (Nauwald) Schramm, wife of Captain Peter Schramm, whose sudden death occurred in this city yesterday morning, were taken from the family residence to the International and Great Northern depot this morning, and accompanied by the bereaved husband, children and relatives, were expressed via San Antonio to Fredericksburg, Texas, where they were laid to rest beside the remains of her father and other relatives in a plot of the cemetery there. Deceased was a woman of noble traits and charities, universally popular with all, and her untimely demise is a sad blow to husband, children and this community, in which she lived so long.

SCHRAMM.--Taylor, Texas, August 9, (1902), Saturday. Mrs. Peter Schramm, wife of Alderman Schramm of this place, died here yesterday very suddenly. Deceased was apparently well and strong, but was stricken down without warning and died in less than three minutes. She leaves a husband and two small children to mourn her loss.
