Mrs. J. B. Hughes, 66, past president of the Oak Cliff Quest Club and sister of two former Texas lawmakers, died in a Dallas Hospital Monday. A resident of 1119 Haines Avenue, she was the sister of Doyle Willis of Fort Worth, former state senator from Tarrant County, and Phil Willis, former state representative from Kaufman County. Other survivors include her husband, her mother, Mrs. Alvin Willis, Kaufman; a daughter, Mrs. Sam Johnson, Irving; and a sister Mrs. Ruby Pyle, Kemp. She was a member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church and Dallas Transit Club's Women's Auxiliary. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lamar & Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Laurel Land.
