7 Feb 1920: Mrs. Mary A. Lowery, of 1822 Center Street, Pleasant Hill, wife of the late Edward Lowery, who passed away at home on Friday morning a few days ago, died at an early hour this morning at her home as a result of a severe attack of pneumonia. She had been sick for one week and attained the age of 51 years. She was a daughter of the late John & Veronica F. Turpin Schaeffer. She was a member of St. John¹s United Brethren Church of Pleasant Hill. She is survived by three brothers, William Schaeffer of CA; Grant Schaeffer of Ebenezer; & Frederick Schaeffer of this city; & one sister, Mrs. Jacob Uhrich, of Pleasant Hill. [Lebanon Daily News]
