She was born Aug. 23, 1952, the daughter of Rodney and Doris (Goodrich) Strong.
She graduated from Black River High School in Ludlow in 1969. She taught children at Rutland V.A.C.
Mrs. Lombard enjoyed nature, animals and especially her children, Dustine and Adam Lombard.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Lombard.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant View Cemetery in Ludlow.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or Visiting Nurses of Springfield.
