He is survived by his wife, Dora Irene Hand; one son, Arvid Hand,Jr.; two daughters, Sharon Finch and Candace McClure; one sister, Velma Machemehl; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held Saturday, April 26, at Fieldstore Cemetery, Waller, Texas under the direction of McWilliams Funeral Home, Hempstead, Texas.
