MAYNARD, Peggy B. - age 70 of Gordonsville passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Lily Brewington; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters. Mrs. Maynard is survived by husband of 50 years, Thomas "Worm" Maynard; children, James T. (Deborah) Maynard of Utah, Sue (Rick) St. Pierre of Indiana & David Maynard of Memphis; sister, Linda (Freddie) Cripps; 6 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; and her fur babies, "Russ & Guss". Mrs. Maynard was a 1963 graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Cumberland University. She worked for Kroger from 1963 until 1997 and belonged to the Meat Cutters & Food Handlers Local 405. She was also a member of Cooks Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers, David Maynard, Rick St. Pierre, James Maynard, Ken Nelson Jr., Terry Meeks, Wallace Brewington Jr., Bill Thorne Jr., & Jimbo Thorne. Honorary pallbearer, Gary Brewington.
