Elsie H. Scharff, 86, died Saturday morning in Mercy Hospital, Oelwein, after a short illness. She was a retired school teacher who taught at a country school in Scott Township, Fayette County.
Survivors include a daughter, Elsa Mueller of Aurora; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Zion American Lutheran Church, Oelwein. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.
