Pierrepont Isham, who died Sunday at Surrey, NH, was a son of the late Edward S. Isham, once a law partner of Robert Todd Lincoln. He was 45 years old, was born here and lived in Chicago until a few years ago. He was graduated from West Point in 1885 and left the army a year later, taking up the study of law with his father. He leaves a brother, Edward S. Isham of New York and two sisters, who are traveling in Europe.

But Peter Wild's book on Lois Kellogg (his daughter) has Pierrepont's handwritten letter with Aug. 16. 1865 DOB.
