Bio
Retired US Army field medic, NCO, JAG, and Civil Affairs operator. My list of Battle Buddies is a special virtual cemetery. It contains fellow soldier memorials who were killed in action or later died as a result of their wounds. I was privileged to have served with 6 of them. (If you read between the lines you will learn the stories of the other 2 who have a "family" connection to me.) Three other soldiers were fellow unit members and 6 of them were fellow Judge Advocate General Corps members. And 3 memorials are for civilians who were from units I was associated with. My memorials and sponsorships for these servicemembers is my small effort to honor them. … And here is the story about the memorials that I added to the United Nations Cemetery in Busan, South Korea. When an enlisted US Army medic, I was stationed in Busan. My sight-seeing of the city brought me to the cemetery. Now, over 35+ years later, I am happy to add names to this cemetery. The smaller countries are completed. (Larger countries like Canada and Turkey must wait for now.) SO...do you, yes…YOU, have a connection to these soldiers, sailors, airmen who died in the Korean War? Please let me know and I will gladly transfer management of them to you.
