"Mrs. Rose Pecora, 68, died Tuesday at her home after a short illness. She was born May 23, 1891, in Italy, daughter of Angelo and Fiorinta Magna Vaccaro. She came to Richfield Springs in 1913 and in 1915 was married to Joseph Pecora in St. Joseph's Catholic Church here by the Rev. A. J. Kelly. The couple lived in Oswego, moved to Yonkers in 1922 and returned to Richfield Springs in 1953. Mrs. Pecora was a member of St. Joseph's Church here. She leaves her husband; a sister, Mrs. Andrew Gallo, Yonkers; three brothers and three other sisters living in Italy. The Rev. Leonard A. Hicks, pastor of St. Joseph's Church recited the Rosary Wednesday night at the McGrath Funeral Home. The blessing of the casket will be offered at 9 Saturday in St. Joseph's Church, Oswego where the funeral Mass will be offered at 9 Monday. Burial will be offered at 9 Monday. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours will be at the Familo Funeral Home in Oswego Friday."
