"A Louisville family was killed in a fiery car crash police say was caused by an intoxicated driver.
It happened Saturday on Interstate-80 in New Jersey. Family members say Briana Anderson; her fiancé, Russell Hitt; and their baby daughter, Charlotte; were killed on their way back from a family trip to New York. She was showing them were her family originally lived.
They say Briana was 20 weeks pregnant, but they didn’t find out until after the crash.
Police say 22-year-old Bhavuk Uppal rear-ended their car in a construction zone, causing it to crash into another and catch fire."

Briana Mae Anderson was born August 15, 1993 in East Islip, New York.
Survived by her parents William & Carolyn Anderson Jr., grandparents - William & Phyllis Anderson, siblings – Candyce (Anderson) Gordon (Joshua – husband), William Anderson, David Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Marissa Anderson (Jason Fuelling – fiancé), Melanie Anderson and Brandi Anderson. Preceded in death by grandparents - John & Joan Renner.
Briana grew up the seventh child in a close knit family that loved to explore and share the amazing places all over Long Island.
Briana loved travelling to New York City and hoped one day to do something with her passion for multi-media production.
Motherhood became her full-time job which if anyone knew her could see the light that glowed all the brighter as she took care of her beautiful daughter. She adored Russell and Charlotte and made sure their needs always came first.
Briana and Russell were joyfully engaged July of 2013 and were truly each other’s soulmates. They were blessed with a daughter Charlotte Reagan Hitt and were expecting a new addition this December.

Visitation is on Friday July 17, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Crestwood Baptist Church, 6400 Sweetbay Dr, Crestwood, KY 40014. Celebration of life service will begin there Saturday July 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery (Duncan Memorial) 6534 W Highway 22 Crestwood, KY 40014.
