Short, Carol Jean, 74, passed away April 18, 2014 in the comfort of her home.
Carol was a member of His and Hers Athletic Club and a devoted member of St. Pius X Church, where she participated in the choir.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ballard Short.
Left to cherish the memory of Carol are her two sons; Gary Short and Alan Short (Carolyn), grandsons; Nicholas and Tyler Short, her Denver son; Ron Valladao, and siblings; Linda Murphy, Mary Lipsey, and Charles Brashear.
Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home Monday from 12-8pm. A service to honor the life of Mrs. Short will be held at St. Pius X Church; 3521 Goldsmith Lane, Tuesday at 10am with Entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
