Anna Mae Huber, 91, a resident of Phoebe Berks Village, Wernersville, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

She was the widow of Rev. Clyde E. Huber, who passed away March 8, 2005.

Born in Pine Grove, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harold J. and Naomi E. (Fehr) Hoy.

Anna Mae was a graduate of Pine Grove High School in 1942 and Pennsylvania State University in 1945.

She was a member of Schwarzwald U.C.C.-Jacksonwald and St. John Gernant's U.C.C. Church-Leesport. Anna Mae was a member of the Mary E. Moore Order of the Eastern Star #372-Pine Grove; a life member of the Penn State Alumni; the Pennsylvania State Education Retirement System at both the local and state level; and a member of the Tweed PA Retired Teachers Group.

Anna Mae was a kindergarten teacher at Seiler Private School in Harrisburg and a home economics teacher at Pennbrook Public School in Harrisburg. She was also a second grade teacher in the Exeter Township School District and lastly as a home economics teacher at Exeter Township Junior High School, retiring in 1986.

Anna Mae is most remembered for her strong religious beliefs, her years of teaching, being an excellent seamstress and cook, traveling, her love of anything related to the beach and her joy of shopping and collection of shoes, but most important to Anna Mae was for her family to get a good education and have a happy successful life and to always cherish your family and friends and the memories you share.

Anna Mae is survived by: one son, Dr. David C. Huber of Wyomissing and one daughter, Christine A. Anné of Rensselaer, NY; four grandchildren: Jennifer Anné, Heather Huber, Gregory Anné and Matthew Huber; and one sister, Miriam F. (Hoy) Davis of Middleberg, PA. She was predeceased by her brother, Harold J. Hoy.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with services beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015, in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Mt. Penn. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Gernants U.C.C. Church for Youth Leadership Ministry and Youth Education Opportunities, 13 Gernants Road, Leesport, PA 19533
