HARRISON, Janice Darlene Age 78 of Centerville, and formerly of Troy, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Bethany Village, Centerville. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 27, 1936 the daughter of Connie S. & Cynthia (Taylor) Amburgey. She worked at Laserplane / Spectra Physics in Huber Heights for over 20 years assembling lasers. She loved antiques and enjoyed finding and selling them. She is survived by her sons Timothy (Patricia) Harrison and James (Kristen Wiley) Harrison II, grandsons Jacob (Rachel Wellman) Harrison, Adam (Nichole) Harrison, Alex (Raquel) Harrison and Aric (Rebecca) Harrison, great grandchildren Melanie, Timothy, Jasper, Kenneth, Lydia, Leia, Kaue and Maiara, and her sisters Joyce Mehl, Lois Lawson, Diane Lunsford, and Faye Poling, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years James Harrison in 2008 and sisters Katy Barr and Pauline Shane. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday July 20, 2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm in the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Ken Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Janice's memory to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
