Funeral services for Chloe Adcock Magness, age 85, were held Sunday, June 17, 2001 at 2:00 p. m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Ricky Arnold officiated with burial following at Dekalb
Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Magness died Friday, June 15, 2001 at her residence.
She was a homemaker, and attended the Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were; her parents: James Monroe and Nettie Mai Redmon Adcock; Husband: Lon Magness; two brothers: Ike and Zeb Adcock; two sisters: Willie Vaughn and
Martha Copeland.
Survivors include: StepSon: Tom Magness of Rock Island; two step-grandsons: Kenneth and Larry Magness of Smithville; three step-grandchildren: Kenderly Cripps, and Nathan
Magness both of Smithville, and Ryan Magness of Jamestown; one step-great
great granddaughter: Chloe Mae Cripps of Smithville; seven nephews: Jack and Joe
Adcock and James Vaughn all of Smithville. Jim Adcoek of Readyville, Billy Adcock and Samuel Copeland both of Sparta; nine nieces: Flora Mae Adcock, Marie Taylor, Nell
Raymond, and Lena Jones all of Smithville, Donna Power of Brentwood, Brenda
Officer, Sandra Bradley, and Phyllis Humphrey all of Sparta, Marsha Huff of Livingston.

Pallbearers included: Nathan Magness, Ryan Magness, Timmy Adcock, Jeremy Taylor, Brian
Raymond, Adam Raymond, Danny Jones, and Teddy Jones.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville, TN was in charge of the arrangements.
