Robert Wilson Crenshaw, age 93, passed away the morning of July 12, 2015 at Bartlesville Health and Rehab Center in Bartlesville, OK. He was born February 20, 1922 in Nowata, OK to Coleman Cleveland (Cren) Crenshaw and Frances Marie Allison. He grew up in Nowata and was a 1939 graduate of Nowata High School but had lived in Tulsa, OK, since 1950.

Mr. Crenshaw was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army as Master Sergeant. He served in the army field artillery honorably in the battles in Africa, Italy and Sicily. He was a long-time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Crenshaw worked in construction and retired as Office Manager for Permajac-Carnes Construction Company in Tulsa.

He was married to Faye Bagley and later to Geneva “Colleen” Henson.

Mr. Crenshaw is survived by two daughters, Judi Waterman (husband Phil) and Joan Marie Nesbitt (husband Doug). He is also survived by grandchildren Samantha Williams (husband Tim), Kate Nesbitt and Parker Nesbitt, and by great-grandchildren T. J. Williams and Cadise Williams. He is also survived by a niece Betty Marie Whistler (husband Doug).

Mr. Crenshaw was predeceased by a sister, Mary Jeanette Wigger of Nowata and Bartlesville.

Mr. Crenshaw was always active and was a coin collector and sports lover. He loved betting on the horses and going to casinos and playing Lotto.

Services held graveside Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata with full military rites.
