R. W. Stirner Succumbs

Ralph W. Stirner of 1705 LeMoyne Ave. died yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness.

A life resident of Syracuse, he owned and managed Stirner Battery Service. He was a member and past master of Salt Springs Lodge 520 F. and A.M.

He was a member of the Columbia Chapter 1 Royal Arch Masons and Columbia Commandery No. 2 Knights Templar, both of Washington, D.C., Masonic Veterans Association, Tigris Temple Shrine, Tigris Field Band, Pluto Cavern No. 2 Knights of Birmingham, the Sunset Bay Derby Club and the N. R. Hunting and Fishing Club.

Surviving are a brother, George A. Stirner of North Syracuse, and a sister, Mrs. Lucy A. Lombard.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Greenleaf Funeral Home, the Rev. Alexander Carmichel officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home, 503 W. Onondaga St. Salt Springs Lodge will conduct Masonic services at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
