Andy Holmes' light has gone out of the world. Despite his handicap, he was a wonderful and ornery uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He passed peacefully, and his family knows God is waiting with open arms to welcome him into heaven. His parents, Ronald and Donna Holmes, have lost a son. His wife, Donilee, has lost her husband. His siblings, Thomas and Paula Holmes, Joseph and Sandra Holmes, and Don and Jeanne Greene, have lost their brother. But they are not lost without him because his fantastic sense of humor lives on in his family. He will be missed more than he knows.

Friends are being received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156 where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30 pm Wednesday at St. Augustine Cathedral.

Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Louis School for Boys. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
