MARTHA ALEXANDER BATES--81: Shenango Twp, William's widow died Sep 18 at the home of her son-JW Bates. She had been in poor health for sometime past, but her death was unexpected. Tuesday night she suffered a stroke of paralysis, which rendered her uncon-scious until death relieved her.
She leaves to mourn her loss 2 children: JW Bates, MrsJas French-who lives near Simons.
The funeral was held Friday [9-20] at State Line Church, conducted by her pastor Smith. Interment at StateLine Cem.
