EZEKIEL III, son of EZEKIEL, JR, and NANCY (HURD) (COFFIN) RICKER, attended Parsonfield Academy in Parsonsfield, Maine and later an Academy in North Scituate, Rhode Island. He studied Law with the Judge Nathaniel Clifford of Newfield, Maine and entered Harvard Law School 25 August 1846. In 1849 he moved to Manitowoc, Wisconsin and married there 25 December 1849 EMELIA MELZNER, born in Saxony, Germany 23 May 1834. EZEKIEL III was an Attorney; Judge of Probate of Manitowoc County in 1850 and served in the State Legislature of Wisconsin from 1853 to 1854. He died on 11 August 1954.
