Mrs. Elizabeth Lessner, formerly of near Manchester, died Sunday, February 4, 1945, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Gastouski, Street, Harford county. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Miller of Roller, Md. Surviving are two sons, Maurice, Pikesville, and Russell, in the US Armed Forces; three daughters, Mrs. John Roberts, Hampstead, Mrs. Gastouski, Street; and Mrs. Joseph Thomas, Norfolk, Va.; also a brother, George Miller, Roller, and a sister, Mrs. George Albaugh, Melrose. Services were conducted Tuesday, meeting at the Jacob Wink and Sons funeral home, Manchester, at 1 P.M., with further rites in the Black Rock Church of the Brethren and burial in the church cemetery. Her pastor, the Rev. Noah Sellers, officiated. Carroll County Times 9 Feb 1945
