ANTHONY GAUGHAN
   Anthony F. Gaughan of 14 Rutz Street, Ashley, died yesterday morning at his home following a lengthy illness.
   A lifelong resident of Ashley, Mr. Gaughan was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gaughan. He was employed by the Glen Alden Corporation for many years. and of late by the Central Railroad of New Jersey. He recently was awarded a 50-year pin from the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
   Mr. Gaughan was a member of St. Leo's Church, Ashley, and its Holy Name Society; the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and the United Mine Workers of America.
   Surviving are two sisters, Sarah at home, and Mrs. Leo McKernan, Ashley: a step-son, Harold Hall, Wilkes-Barre, and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral will be held from the funeral home, 689 Hazle Avenue, Saturday morning at 9. A requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 in St. Leo's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may rail 2 to 3 and 7 to 10.
