Early Life: Heather Marie Ewell was born August 31, 1984, the daughter of Terry and Dana Ewell, of South Jordan, Utah. She spent her childhood playing with her two younger sisters, Ashlee (Harrison) and Brittany (Kenner). She met many lifelong friends at Cystic Fibrosis Camp, and to this day considers these some of her best friends in life. During her teenage years, the family moved to Nebraska where she graduated from Papillion-La Vista High. They later moved to Maryland for a short time before Heather returned to Utah to begin her education at Snow College.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Following a transfer to UVSC in Orem, Utah, she met and fell in love with Kyle R. Hall one evening at an institute class in Pleasant Grove. Heather and Kyle fell head over heels in love with one another; after only two months of dating they were engaged and three months later, were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple. Heather and Kyle did everything together. They were the perfect example of what marrying your best friend is all about. They enjoyed traveling and vacationing both locally as well as abroad. Heather has hiked the Great Wall of China, soaked her feet in the sands of Grand Caymans and Hawaii. She’s been all throughout the United States and lounged by the pools in Mexico. Heather lived every day to its fullest, and enjoyed each moment she had on this earth. Her love of life is a legacy to all those fortunate enough to have been touched by her in any way. She is a living testimony of pure love in its finest form. As a wife, she devoted her time to her number one love in life, her husband, Kyle. The love she has for him, and he has for her, is remarkable and indescribable. They walked side by side, hand in hand, as one, for the past 11 years. They are looking forward to spending an eternity together. Heather’s joy in life came from sharing her love with everyone she met, especially children! With a heart twice the size of her body, she radiated love everywhere she went, and with 15 nieces and nephews, as well as a healthy social life, Heather never ran out of love to give. One of her greatest joys came from throwing family parties and she certainly knew how to party! She was extremely creative with crafts and always had some kind of project in the works. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time at “Heathers House of Healing and Happiness” in Wyoming. She also enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping, ATVs, soaking in the sun, and simply spending time with loved ones, no matter where they were or what they were doing. She has a firm testimony of the LDS faith, and wants nothing more than to be a forever family with all those who meant the most to her in this life. She is survived by family members too numerous to list and will be greatly missed by countless more. Heather “Ree-Ree” Marie Ewell Hall, a truly selfless, loving, compassionate, sincere and giving woman, who was completely filled with the pure love of Christ, has taken a breath of fresh air after successfully combating the complications of Cystic Fibrosis for the past 30 years. Her life will be nationally celebrated each year with vast displays of fireworks on the anniversary of her passing, July 4, 2015.
