Grace Delight Ireland of Franklin died Saturday in MetroWest Medical Center in Natick. She was 95. Born in Angola, Ind., she was educated in the Angola school system and graduated in 1916. Shortly after graduation she married and moved to Lynn, where she lived from 1919 to 1988 before moving to Franklin.
While in Lynn, she was active in the Ladies Fellowship of the former Boston Street Methodist-Episcopal Church.
During the early 1940s, Mrs Ireland was employed by the Riverworks Plant of General Electric in Lynn.
She leaves a son, John W Ireland of Medfield, a daughter, Betty Newman of Anchorage; a sister, Vada Seeman of Angola, Ind; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was the widow of Frank M. Ireland. A graveside funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 am in Beechbrook Cemetery in Gloucester.
