Her husband, Alexander Leitch McVicker was born July 15, 1875 in Rutherglen, Lanark, Scotland, the son of Alexander Mcvicker and Agness Leitch. He died June 25, 1963 age 87 in New Eagle, Washington Co, PA. They married Oct 7, 1908.

Alexander was of medium height and weight with blue eyes and auburn hair. He was the mayor of Monongahela in Sept 1918 and a civil engineer. He was recognized in Oct 1960 as the Oldest Living Elder at the 175th Anniversary of the First Presbyterian Church. He was elected an elder in 1906. At one time he was also a superintendent of the Black Diamond Mission Sunday School.
A reunion of descendants of Alexander McVicker and Agnes Leitch was held July 28, 2001 at Mingo Creek Park.
