Cecil Brack Johns, 79, of Sellersburg, IN passed away on July 1, 2015 at the home of his daughter in Bronston, KY.

He was born on December 1, 1935 in Patriot, Indiana to Brack and Rosa Webster Johns. He retired from General Electric in Louisville after more than 40 years of service. He was also a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and reading western novels.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George, Calvin, Earl, Elmer, Carroll, Gene, Arlen, Edward and Virgil; sisters, Mildred Shaffer, Jennie Collar, Mary Smithers and Ruth Martin.

Cecil is survived by his wife the former Vayola Worrall; daughters, Vanessa Flynn of Bronston, KY and Joni Massey of Jeffersonville, IN; step-son, Johnny Ray Gibbons of Charlestown, IN; brother, Robert Allen Johns of Olive Hill, MI; 8 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday July 7, 2015 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm on Monday and after 9 am on Tuesday.
