Glen Roy Bell, 80, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2006, in Norman, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Bumgarner officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy, Arkansas, at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers are Don Rackley, Steve Epperson, Kenneth Burrough, Bill Boeckman, Mike Gleghorn, and Dan Turner. Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Curtis, James 'Red' Garner, and Ed Hicks. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma. Mr. Bell was born August 12, 1925, in Baily, Oklahoma, to Iva and Jerry Bell. Glen married Doris Nelson September 30, 1989, in Searcy, Arkansas. Mr. Bell owned and operated Oklahoma Restaurant Supply in Oklahoma City for a number of years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star, McFarlin United Methodist Church of Norman. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; son Ronnie; and wife Louise Taylor Bell. Survivors include his wife Doris, of the home; son Jerry G. Bell, and wife Karen, of Garland, TX; daughter Judy McCawley, and husband Bill, of Tuttle, OK; brother Bill Bell, and wife Wanda, of Pharr, TX; stepchildren, Leigh Anne Gleghorn, and husband Mike, of Mandeville, LA, Patti Kimmerly, of North Little Rock, AR, Jennifer French, and husband Jason, of North Little Rock, AR, and Dennis O'Malley, and wife Martine, of Gatlineau, QC, Canada; grandchildren, Julie Turner, and husband Dan, of Dallas, TX, Matthew Bell, and fiancee, Rachel Lane, of Norman, Billy McCawley, and wife Tonja, Robert McCawley, and wife Kim, Terri Patrick, and husband Donnie, of Edmond, OK, Jake Kimmerly, Emma O'Malley, Ron Robbins, and Chad Robbins; great grandchildren, Billy McCawley III, Bradley McCawley, Marcus McCawley, Mariley McCawley, Andrea Patrick, and Jeremy Patrick.
