Olivier "Oliver" LeClair was born on 8 Aug 1822 and baptized the following day at Saint Antoine de Padoue in La Baie du Febvre, Yamaska, Québec, Canada. (The "22" in the day of birth is an error on the headstone.) His family adopted the surname LeClair, a variation of the double surname Clair Houde, upon their arrival in the United States in the late 1830's. His widow Emily remarried in 1867. She buried her second husband Jacob Bachus in the same lot as her first husband. I noticed that some contributors mistakenly believe that she died in 1868. However, she clearly appears in the 1870 and 1880 census records with her second husband and children from her first marriage. I've never been able to find her death record and I assume that she married a third time.
