Robert Lee Moore, Sr., 84, Emerickville, died Sunday, August 21, 2011, at Jefferson Manor, Brookville, Jefferson County, PA.

Born Dec. 8, 1926, in Hazen, he was a son of the late Ernest Ray Moore, Sr. and Minnie Jane (Corbin) Moore. He was married to Phyllis Young on October 5, 1968. She survives. He was formerly married to Mae Loretta Clark. She survives.
He had been a sawyer for several area lumber mills and a sawyer and foreman at Brookville Wood Products. He enjoyed hunting, watching television, raising animals and gardening.

He is survived by five sons, Garry Moore and his wife, Cathy Moore, Falls Creek, Bradley Moore, and his wife, Robin Moore, and Kevin Moore, both of Reynoldsville, Gregory Moore, and his wife, Cara Lea Moore, Ridgway, and Robert "Bobby" Moore, Jr. Emerickville, three daughters, Margaret "Peg" (Moore) Olson, and her husband, Richard "Dick" Olson, Warren, Shirley (Moore) Holben, and her husband, Jospeh Holben, Emerickville, and Sharon (Moore) Rapp, and her husband, George Rapp, Shippenville, one stepson, Sam Barnett, and his wife, Kelly Barnett, Reynoldsville, three step-daughters, Susan Gould, and her husband, William "Bill" Gould and Elizabeth "Betty" Deibler, and her husband, Karl Deibler, both of Brookville, and Karen Snell, and her husband Richard Snell, Emerickville, two sisters, Effie (Moore) Roush, Colorado and Velva (Moore) Croyle, and her husand, Harry Croyle, Brookville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His daughter, Patricia Lea Moore, his son, James Lee Moore, three brothers, Andrew Milton Moore, Ernest Ray Moore, Jr. and Everett Elwood Moore, and an infant sister, predeceased him.

His death notice and obituary were published in the Courier Express, DuBois, PA, in August 2011. McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville, PA, served the family. Memorial services were being planned for a later time.
